Blynk is an application available in both Android and iPhone stores. This application is based on IoT platforms. It was recently trending applications among the consumers.

            Think of controlling the house applications, the security system of the bank, office buildings, vehicles, drones, unmanned vehicles just by using a smartphone.

How to Use?

STEPS

1.  You need to create an account in Blynk Application using e-mail.

 

2.  You can name your project with a title and need to choose the microcontroller board type you are going to use.

 

3.  You can also theme dark or light.

 

4.  You need to upload the library (i.e., source code) on the board.

  More options are available for the connectivity of board and the phone

a.  Bluetooth

b.  Wi-Fi

c.   Ethernet

d.  USB

e.  GSM

                 f.  BLE 

 

5.  When you have created a projected an authentications code sent to your mail.

 

6.  You need to update the specific code in the library.(How to install Library)

7.  You need to select the pin and widgets you’re going to use.

a.  Widgets option you must choose wisely.

                             i.   Analog and Digital options are also available.

 

8.  The important thing is to remember is the phone and the board must be online.

 9.  At last, you can control the phone you have made.

 

Widgets: Will be available in the plus symbol at the top right corner.

• Button: It acts as a switch on and off.
• Styled Button:  It also acts like a switch but a different design.
• Slider: It is a horizontal slider act like a regulator.
• Vertical Slider: Same as that of Slider but in vertical
• Timer: It is a digital widget used to on or off with timer similar to phone timer.
• Joystick: It is like a normal joystick that moves up, down, left, and right.
• SuperChart: It acts like a graph. Use can use to read the values like temperature, moisture for the day also.
• Gauge: It measures the value in analog for like in motorcycles.
• Social Media: You can also connect your social profiles Twitter and Email with Applications. Even the notification option is available.
• More widgets available you can experience yourself more when you use it.
